Abstract
PURPOSE: To raise the efficiency of operation, by fully loading a gas turbine, shifting the turbine into speed-governed operation and increasing the load on a steam turbine to meet a load increase request when the request cannot be met by the gas turbine being in operation.
CONSTITUTION: When a load increases and the load on a gas turbine 1a approaches 100% during the operation of only a gas turbine unit A and a steam turbine, a signal from an electric power detector 29a becomes higher than a set signal on a pressure change operation shifting point setting unit 32. A steam regulating valve 11 is controlled toward closing and the steam turbine is shifted from pressure change operation to speed-governed operation. At the same time, a next gas turbine unit B is started. When another gas turbine 1b reaches a prescribed loaded state, the steam regulating valve 11 is fully opened again to put the steam turbine 12 into pressure change operation. Similar steps are then sequentially effected.
