When an ambient temperature reaches a set temperature, an output of a comparator 21 is inverted, the TR29 is turned on, a negative trigger signal is applied to the gate of the triode AC switch 16, the triode AC switch 16 becomes an on-state, and electric power is supplied to a load to be controlled 11. When the triode AC switch 16 is turned on, voltage is not applied to a transformer 17, therefore, the TR29 is turned off, but the triode AC switch 16 maintains its on-state up to the end of half-cycle of AC of an electric power supply 14. Subsequently, when a reverse half-cycle has come, the triode AC switch 16 becomes an off-state since voltage is not applied to the gate, but as a result, it becomes an on-state again since the TR29 is turned on.
