Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a bad influence from the measurement standpoint, by a method wherein a container containing a sample under test is transferred several times without reloading the container, while a luminous flux route is so positioned that it crosses the route of the container from the discharge position to supply position. CONSTITUTION:A turntable 2 is allowed to stop every time it has turned more than one round, that is, 360+delta degrees. Thus all of the reaction cells on the route of the moving container of the turntable are allowed to cross a luminous flux 4 route every rotation, so that photometry is conducted during the rotation for a sample under test. For the luminous flux of the photometric device, the light source 3 and the photometer 5 are arranged in such a manner that they are located between rinsing water suction nozzles 12 and 13. With this constitution, such a bad influence from the measurement standpoint can be prevented as the decomposition of a reagent or the generation of an air bubble caused by the exposure of the sample under test to light for many hours.
