Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of measurement data by providing plural pieces of flow cells for measuring absorbancy or transmittance. CONSTITUTION:While a rotary table 6 is rotated intermittently, the samples in sample vessels 7 are dispensed at a constant rate into reaction vessels 9 with a sample dispensing pump 3 and a sample nozzle 10. When the table 8 comes to the prescribed position while rotating intermittently, the reagent in a reagent vessel 5 is dispensed at a constant rate into the tubes 9 with a reagent dispensing pump 4 and a reagent nozzle 11. When the tubes 9 comes to the prescribed position, the test liquid is sucked at a constant rate into flow cells 21a- 21c with a test liquid suction nozzle 13 and a test liquid pump 26. The light emitting from a light source 31 is made to the luminous fluxes of uniform intensity with a condenser lens 32, an interference filter 33 and half mirrors 34a- 34c, and these cells are made incident to a photodetector 23 by passing through the cells 21a-21c of different lengths. From the outputs thereof, the ratios of absorbancy are calculated by a comparing arithmetic device 24 and are displayed 25. Thereby, the reliability of the measurement data is improved.
