Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform colorimetric measurement exactly in a short time by meausring twice colorimetrically by employing a specimen to be measured in which a relationship of proportion in the reaction time vs. absorbance characteristic for the concentration to be measured exists at least for a part of the reaction time. CONSTITUTION:A colorimetric measuring device is provided with a light source 1. The light beams from this light source 1 pass through a pin hole 3 and are made parallel by means of a relay lens 4 and directed at the measurement cell 6. The measurement cell 6 contains a liquid specimen to be measured or a reference liquid. The liquid specimen used is a specimen in which relationship of proportion in the reaction time vs. absorbance characteristic for the concenttstion to be measured exists at least for a part of the reaction time, and colorimetric measurement is conducted twice at the time X1 and X2 to make more exact colorimetric measurement in a short time from starting of reaction in the specimen.
