CONSTITUTION:The light from the light source 1 is separated into two beams thru two reflectors 4. One beam passes through the cell 3 in the portion of less thickness. This beam is set as compensation beam A, where the other beam as the measuring beam B. The two beams reach a chopper 5 by way of a reflector 4 and are made to enter a detector 2 alternately to measure the quantity of light of the beams A and B.
