Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A solar water heater 3 is disposed in a hollow space 10 formed in a block 6, and pipes 12 of the heater 3 are projected to the outside from respective holes 11 which are opened at the top and bottom of the block 6. Light-transmitting opening 4 are formed in both side walls of the block 6, and a light collecting plate 7 such as a lens is fitted in each opening 4, with a proper spacing between the light collecting plate 7 and a light-absorbing surface 5 of the heater 3. A multiplicity of blocks 6, each incorporating therein such a solar water heater 3, are stacked in a plurality of layers and installed at a proper part of a block wall 2, and a water supply pipe 8 and a hot-water supply pipe 9 are connected to the assembly of these blocks 6.
