Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable the positive utilization of the solar energy, by a method wherein a spandrel part of a curtain wall is formed with a solar heat collector.
CONSTITUTION: A curtain wall cosntitution unit, in which an upper part of a frame mades with a window and a lower part matches with a heat collector, is positioned at a floor slab 5, and said heat collector forms a spandrel part. No.1 and No.2 spaces I and II, which are positioned in parallel to each other, are located through the medium of two walls at the indoor side of a light permeation plate 7 of the heat collector. After an air temperature in the No.1 space I rises up to higher that the room temperature resulting from the absorption of a heat energy to a heat absorption element 8, the air is supplied to the interior of a room through a connection opening 14 and a heated air outlet opening 13 (an upper opening of the No.1 space). In the meantime, cool air in the room flows in through a cool air inlet opening 15 (an upper opening of the No.2 space) in proximity of a floor surface due to a natural convection, and flows into the No.1 space I after passing through the No.2 space II and a connection opening 16. Said air is heated by means of the heat absorption element 8, and is fed again into the room.
