Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure traveling distance accurately while a carriage itself is traveling by making the carriage travel with a corresponding traveling command when an output pulse really generated from a wheel rotational frequency detector consists with an operated output pulse information. CONSTITUTION:A calibration marker 3 has standard length L arranged along a traveling route and a counter 5 counts up output pulses from a pulse pickup 4 attached to the axle of a wheel 11 whose rotational frequency is to be measured only for the period that marker signals indicating the traveling of the marker are generated, and sends the output pulses to a CPU. On the basis of the input data, the CUP 6 converts a traveling command and distance information which have been previously set up into output pulse information and, when a real output pulse generated from the pickup 4 coincides with the output pulse information of the command, drives a relay circuit 7 for traveling command to generate the corresponding traveling command and travel the carriage.
