CONSTITUTION:A thin strip of 6-14 B atom %, 8-14 Si, 4-12 Ni, the balance Fe, wherein at least one face is amorphous is heat treated at the temp. near the differential absorption heat initiation temp. of the heating differential heat quantity curve of said metal. This thin strip can be produced by, for example, a single roll method or the like, and the face where no cracking occurs at 180 deg. bending is amorphous.
