Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The comparison amplifier 1 outputs the voltage signal VPP in proportion to the deviation between a main motor current feedback value Iaf and a main motor current command value Iap. Also, a phase shifter 2 outputs ON and OFF signals when the level of the voltage signal VPP became larger than the level of the integrator output which is repeating an integral control action for each reset pulse fRP to be outputted from an oscillator 3. When the chopping frequency is changed from fO/2 to fO, a chopping frequency command fV is added to the comparison amplifier 1 and the voltage signal VPP becomes one half. Through these procedures, no change in the current continuity rate is created at point before and after the change of the chopping frequency and the comfortableness of riding at the starting time can be improved.
