Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a frequency (F)-voltage (V) converter having high stability, by controlling a voltage control type variable tuning circuit to which an input signal is applied with the difference of phase between the input and output signals. CONSTITUTION:The AC signal applied through a terminal 11 is supplied to a variable tuning circuit 12. The input and output signals of the circuit 12 are applied to a phase comparator 14, and the difference of phase is obtained between the input and output signals. The AC wave component is eliminated through an LPF15 for the output of the comparator 14, and the output of the comparator 14 is turned into the control signal of the circuit 12. Thus the tuning frequency of the circuit 12 follows automatically the frequency of the AC input. In this frequency following state, the control voltage to be applied to the circuit 12 is turned into an F-V converting output and extracted through an output terminal 20. In such way, an F-V converter is obtained with high stability.
