PURPOSE:To enable effective selection of a frequency signal by setting the passing frequency of a passing frequency variable type filter so that the passing frequency signal of the filter becomes higher than the prescribed level. CONSTITUTION:A frequency/voltage converter 16 outputs a voltage V proportional to a passing frequency f when the level of the output signal of a switched capacitor filter 13 capable of varying externally its passing frequency is higher than the set value. Since the voltage V is inputted through a switching circuit 17 to a voltage controlled type oscillator 19, the passing frequency of the filter 13 is set to its frequency. When the level of the output signal of the filter 13 becomes lower than the set value, the circuit 17 inputs the output of a sawtooth wave oscillator 19 to the oscillator 19, accordingly the passing frequency of the filter 13 is swept.
