Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically respond to the change in duty ratio of a reference signal source, by controlling a voltage controlled oscillator through an average voltage of a sliced signal and an output of a low-pass filter as a control signal. CONSTITUTION:An output of a reference frequency source 51 is compared with an output of a voltage controlled oscillator 53 and smoothed and applied to a control terminal 55 of the voltage-controlled oscillator 53. On the other hand, the reference frequency output is sliced with one of high or low level of the signal output amplitude and inputted to an average voltage circuit 57. The voltage obtained at this circuit 57 is taken as a reference voltage eR and applied to a reference terminal 58 of the oscillator 53 which changes the frequency so that a control voltage (ec) is equal to the reference voltage eR, and a PLL oscillation circuit outputs a signal in synchronizing with the reference frequency. The reference voltage (eR) is changed at the same time according to the change in the duty ratio of the reference frequency signal and set near the optimum reference voltage automatically, allowing to keep the synchronizing relation.
