Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance durability to ink and utilize the vibrational energy of a piezoelectric element effectively by embedding the piezoelectric element directly into a vibrating plate without using any adhesives, in an ink jet printer head manufactured by using a high-polymeric material. CONSTITUTION:An appropriate amount of a suitable solvent is dropped onto a piezoelectric element adhering part of the vibrating plate 1 made of resin, then the piezoelectric element 2 fitted with a wire 3 for an electrode on the vibrating plate side is placed at the solvent-treated part of the plate 1 and is heated while applying a pressure thereto. Since no adhesive is used in adhering the piezoelectric element 2 to the vibrating plate 1, the article obtained is excellent in durability and the vibrational energy of the element 2 can be converted more efficiently.
