Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate generation of an obstacle around an ink jet port and improve the stability of a record by making a thermoplastic resin intervene between flat plates and thermally pressing and adhering the said resin and flat plates when flat plates are put together to manufacture the captioned head. CONSTITUTION:When the captioned recording head is manufactured, a teflon thermoplastic resin sheet 3 is attached on a flat plate 2 equipped with an ink chamber 1 and the said sheet 3 is thermally adhered onto the flat sheet 2 under pressure. In addition, a thermoplastic resin sheet 6 is thermally adhered on a flat sheet 5 equipped with an ink feed channel 4. Next, a thin metal sheet 8 with comblike serrated groove 7 at the end is sandwiched between the flat plates 2, 5. Then pressure is uniformly applied to the three plates subjected to heating and at the same time, the interpositioned sheets 3, 6 are used to thermally adhere the three plates concurrently. Following this procedure, a piezoelectric element, a filter and an ink feed port are mounted to provide an ink jet recording head.
