Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the blocking of a nozzle due to the use of an adhesive by using a system in which a nozzle plate is lapped with a head block with a communication path through a thermoplastic adhesive sheet and hot-pressed for joining. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle plate 62 with a sheet 61 and nozzles 6G is lapped on the tip part of the communication path 6F of a head block 6'' having an ink supply port 6A provided with piezo-electric elements 6E, an ink common chamber 6B, an ink supply path 6C, a pressure chamber D, and a communication path 6F. The sheet 61 is molded of a thermoplastic adhesive and also provided with a through hole 6F' corresponding to the communication path 6F. By pressing the nozzle plate 62 on the head block and heating them, the nozzle plate 62 is strongly and uniformly bonded to the head block through the sheet 61.
