Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the infiltration of an adhesive into an ink path by providing a groove on both or one of an adhesion surface of a base substrate and an adhesion surface of an upper cover. CONSTITUTION:When a multi-nozzle head of an ink jet printer is manufactured by bonding an upper cover 12 joining a piezo-electric element on a base substrate 11 provided with a number of ink pathes (nozzle grooves) 4, 4' and 4'', a groove 9 is provided outside the ink pathes 4' and 4'' on the outermost side of the base substrate 11, a groove 10 is provided at a position corresponding to the groove 9 of the upper cover 12, or only one of the grooves 9 and 10 is provided. This prevent the infiltration of the adhesive into the ink pathes 4' and 4'' on the outermost side.
