Abstract
PURPOSE:To maintain automatically constant ink pressure for the ink jet head by means of the pressure of ink flow itself by the system wherein a special fluid resistance element is provided for the portion of the ink flow-way located between the pump and the ink injection head. CONSTITUTION:A constant pressure controller 6 having an impinging plate 6a, a coil spring 6b and a fluid resistance element 6c is provided for the front side of the ink jet head 7 located at the downstream of the pump 2. The impinging plate 6a is moved in a left direction up-to the position whereat the inflow ink pressure applied to the impinging plate 6a with low ink flow and the repelling force of the spring 6b are balanced, allowing the fluid resistance element 6c to move similarly to the left direction for reducing fluid resistance. High ink pressure causes the impinging plate 6a and the fluid resistance element 6c to move to the right direction for choking the ink flow-way. This operation allows the ink pressure applied to the ink jet head 7 to maintain at a constant.
