Abstract

PURPOSE:To measure the degree of separation of a composite modulated signal accurately by giving a phase difference between a left-channel signal and a right- channel signal and by measuring the level of the upper side wave in an AM stereophonic signal. CONSTITUTION:The output of an audio frequency oscillator 10 is supplied to a phase shifter 11. The 0 deg. out-of-phase output signal of the phase shifter 11 is inputted as a left-channel signal to the left-channel input terminal of a matrix circuit 11. A 90 deg. or -90 deg. out-of-phase signal is selected by a changeover switch 21 and inputted to the right-channel terminal of the circuit 1. According to the switching of a changeover switch 18, an indicator 12 indicates the levels of the 1st upper side wave and 1st lower side wave of the composite modulated signal of an AM stereophonic signal generator A selectively.
