Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate variations of a comparison criterion without reference to a long and a short time constant, by connecting the series circuit of a switch and a resistance and the parallel circuit of the switch and another resistance to the positive and negative input terminals of a comparator. CONSTITUTION:In addition to an FET switch 6 varying the resistance value of the negative input terminal of a comparator 4 and a resistance 9, an FET switch 11, controlled together with the FET switch 6, and a resistance 10 are provided to the positive input terminal of the comparator 4. Therefore, a signal is applied to a time-constant switching control signal input terminal to turn on both the FET switches 6 and 11, and then bias currents from the positive and negative input terminal of the comparator 4 flow through resistances 3 and 10 or resistance, 8 and 9. When the FET switches 6 and 11 are turned off, the bias current flow through the resistances 3 and 8, respectively. At this time, since the resistances 9 and 10, and 3 and 8 have equal resistance values, respectively, the resistance values viewed from the positive and negative terminals of the comparator 4 are equal regardless of whether the FET switches 6 and 11 are turned on or off, thereby eliminating the influence of the bias current.
