Abstract
PURPOSE:To shorten a switching time, by constituting a circuit so that a comparator circuit for detecting connection or non-connection of a memory part, and a temperature characteristic of reference voltage of this circuit are made to correspond to a temperature characteristic of an input ''L'' signal, and also providing a circuit for clamping an input ''H'' signal. CONSTITUTION:The reference bias to be applied to a terminal 27b of a comparator circuit 27 for detecting connection or non-connection of a memory part of a fuse type bipolar PROM is almost equal to the ''L'' potential of an output signal of an internal output terminal 6, and its potential becomes high by decreasing or increasing values of resistances 28, 30 or a fuse 32. A DC noose margin is equal to the logical amplitude in an input of the circuit 27 which is required when an output terminal 5 is varied to the ''L'' potential from the ''H'' potential, by a difference between threshold voltage (=reference bias) of the circuit 27 and the ''L'' potential of an output of the terminal 6, and depends on the fuse 32, therefore, no temperature is changed. In case of the ''H'' potential of the terminal 6 at the time of a program, a clamping circuit 35 is turned on and off by a switch 36 in accordance with writing circuits 25, 37.
