Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to use an analog switch combinedly for switching a signal of the audio amplifier by so forming that the offset voltage is made zero, in the analog switch for which a junction type FET has been used. CONSTITUTION:When the control terminal 3 is made in a floating state, the bias voltage is set to zero between gate and source of the FET Q2, and the FET Q2 is turned on. Accordingly, the gate and source of the FET Q1 are short-circuited, and the FET Q1 becomes conducting and is turned on. When a control current I is made to flow into the control terminal 3, the reverse voltage is generated across the resistors R1, R2, respectively, and the FET's Q1, Q2 are turned off. In this case, the control current I flows to ground through the resistors R1, R2 from the control terminal 3, therefore, no offset voltage is generated between source and ground of the FET Q1 which is operated as a switch.
