In one electrode of a liquid crystal cell, heating elements 25, 26 are formed in advance on its inside surface and outside surface through a thermal conductive body 26. The heating element of the inside surface 25 is used for heating a liquid crystal layer, and the heating element of the outside surface 27 is used for printing to heat sensitive paper 28.
