CONSTITUTION: High pressure phase type BN or CBN powder is put into a ball made of superhard alloy contg. WC, etc. together with WC or (Mo, W)C powder and/or Cu powder and Al powder as a binder, and the powders are pulverized to ≤1μm. At this time, they are blended so as to make the CBN conent to 80W20 vol%, and the Al and Cu contents of the binder are adjusted to 1W30wt% each. The pulverized mixed fine powder is degassed by heating to ≥300°C in a vacuum and sintered to manufacture the desired sintered body for a tool for finely working precise small parts.
