Abstract

PURPOSE:To check the normalness of the received picture information through a simple circuit, by providing an error checking circuit common to plural receiving circuits and thus extracting the received picture information succeissively from those receiving circuit. CONSTITUTION:The picuture information signal is received via one of receiving circuits 2-1-2-N and then stored in receiving shift registers 4-1-4-N corresponding to the circuits 2-1-2-N respectively. The picture information is transferred in parallel to data registers 6-1-6-N connected to the registers 4-1-4-N and by an amount equivalent to a scanning line when the information is stored by an amount equivalent to a scanning line. At the same time, the picture information signals supplied from the circuits 2-1-2-N are supplied successively and with every scanning line to a decoder counter 10 and with each of the circuits 2-1-2-N. The picture information signal is decoded to be expanded to the original picture information. Thus the normalness and an error are decided for the picture information when the picture elements of a line are equal and not equal to a prescribed number respectively. In case an error exists, the contents is changed for the corresponding register in a status register 12.
