Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the lowering of the heat collecting characteristic of the solar heat collector due to the use of a heat insulating material by a method wherein a heat insulating layer is provided under a heat collecting pipe through an air layer and an infrared ray reflecting layer is provided on the surface of the heat insulating layer facing the heat collecting plate.
CONSTITUTION: The heat insulating layer 6 is provided under the heat collecting plate 3 through the air layer 5 and the infrared ray reflecting layer 7 in the form of an aluminum foil or the like is provided on the surface of the heat insulating layer 6 on the side facing to the heat collecting plate 3. As the above structure does not include the conventional heat insulating layer made of, for example, glass wool, the clouding of a sunlight penetrating body or the lowering of the heat collecting characteristic of the solar heat collector due to dew concentration can be prevented. Further, due to the provision of the infrared ray reflecting layer 7, the infrared rays radiating from the heat collecting plate 3 toward the heat insulating layer 6 are reflected so that the deterioration of the heat insulating layer 6 resulting from unusual overheating of the heat collecting plate 3 can be prevented.
