Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve the broadcasting cable communication system with decreased frequency produced by collision, by providing priority to the transmission start timing of a plurality of terminals. CONSTITUTION:Data processed at a microcomputer 263 is converted into clocks and data at a transmission section 261 and transmitted to a modulator 21. Each terminal has given priority and the priority expressed with a figure is stored in an RAM in the microcomputer 263. This value is read out from the RAM when the transmission request is produced and transferred to a counter 264 and a signal delay circuit 262. On the other hand, when a carrier detector shows ''absence of carrier'', the signal delay circuit 262 starts the count down of the value set in advance with the clock from the 263. The signal delay circuit of the terminal having the highest priority is at ''0'', the waiting state of the terminal is released, and signals are transmitted from the transmission section 261. Every time when the waiting state is extended once, the value of the counter 264 is smaller, and the priority is increased.
