Abstract
PURPOSE:To hold the operation of an automatic threshold value control, even at the time when a data pulse stops, by inserting a pulse to a transmission signal at the transmission side compulsively, if a time not producing data pulse is consecutive for a prescribed time or more. CONSTITUTION:An input data signal is inputted to a terminal A to be a signal A1 via a delay circuit T1 having a delay time of t1, and signal A2 via a delay circuit T2 having a delay time t2 and the a signal A1 enter an OR gate OR1 to be a signal A3. On the other hand, a pulse generator PG produces a pulse B having pulse interval t3 and pulse width t4, and the pulse is converted into an optical pulse D at an electric-photo converter EL for transmission. A half of the amplitude of the signal D1 is a threshold value at a peak detector PD constituting an automatic threshold control circuit and given to an identifier DT. The output D2 of the identifier DT and a signal D3 via a delay circuit T3 are inputted to an AND gate AND1 and the output A is a reception data output.
