Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide an ink jet head which makes the formation of the finely configurated part of the head by means of a desired pattern simple and easy and makes the simultaneous processing of multiple units possible by providing a member composed of hardened films of photosensitive resin which performs filtering action and the role of preventing liquid from vibration midway in an ink passage. CONSTITUTION:Ink discharge pressure generating elements 2 are arranged on a substrate 1 of glass, etc. and a dry film photoresist 3 is pressure laminated on the surface of the element arranged substrate 1A. On the surface of this resist 3, a photomask 4 having a pattern 4P is laid and it is exposed to light and then photoresist not exposed to light is dissolved and removed by a solvent and hardened resist film 3H is further hardened by thermal polymerization method. In the same manner, a dry film photoresist 5 is laminated on the hardened film 3H and hardened by exposure and developing process and an opening 6 which concurrently performs ink filtering and prevention of liquid vibration is formed and caused to bind with said hardened film 3H and then a head is completed by installing an ink tank thereto. EFFECT:The head is excellent in dimensional accuracy and free from adhesion troubles as no adhesive is used.
