Abstract
PURPOSE:To cast plural pieces of homogeneous castings efficiently and simultaneously by juxtaposing arbitrary plural pieces of mold elements which are molded separately and a single mold for a sprue part thereby constituting a mold. CONSTITUTION:The molten metal charged through a mold 2 for a sprue part flows through a sprue part 6 and a common runner part 5 constituted by connecting a beginning end part 5b of the runner and respective elements 5a for the runner part to one body, and is forced upward uniformly roughly at an equal speed into the casting cavities of the respective mold elements 1. Since it is possible to fill molten metal simultaneously into the respective cavities 3 through the single sprue system in this way, the problems of the decrease in the temp. of the molten metal as in the prior art are reduced and therefore it is possible to juxtapose a larger quantity of the elements 1 and to improve production efficiency.
