CONSTITUTION:In a transportable container 1, a concave mirror 3 which can be moved on an optical axis is provided at the position facing the infrared ray solid sensor 2 made of PbSe, a thermistor, or the like. A filter 5 made of plastic film and the like which can pass the infrared ray of 7-13mum emitted from a human body at an incident window. The concave mirror 3 is so arranged that the sensor 2 is located within the focal length of the mirror, and the human body is sensed at the broad angle of the field (as shown by dot-dash line). Then the arrangement is readjusted so that the sensor 2 is located at the focal point of the concave mirror 3 and the position of the objects is sensed at the narrow angle of the field.
