Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable photo detecting range to be adjusted by moving the position of at least one of a mirror and an infrared ray sensor opposing to this. CONSTITUTION:A sensor 5 of an infrared ray detector is so disposed that it may be moved along the axis 8 in opposition to the concave mirror 1 of a condenser mirror system and the photo detecting surface 5a of the sensor 5 is formed convex. When the sensor 5 is moved so as to approach to (depart from) the vertex 7 of the concave mirror 1, the photo detecting range becomes wide (narrow). Thereupon, if the sensor 5 is so arranged as to permit the adjustment of its position and to be fixed if necessary and if the correspondence of the position of the sensor 5 and the photo detecting range is displayed in the detector, the use suited for various purposes of different photo detecting ranges is made possible.
