Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a better responsiveness with a simple construction with such an arrangement that a pan head of a TV camera for photographing a moving object will turn with the output of a tracking sensor for detecting a light emitting element provided a location part of the object. CONSTITUTION:Light of a light emitting element 8 provided near the finger position of a manupilator 5 as a moving object is detected with a tracking sensor 3 comprising a condensing lens and a position detector provided on the body of a TV camera 1. The output of the sensor is input into a position calculation circuit 4 and the output thereof is provided to a pan head control section 6 to turn the pan head 2 horizontally until the optical axis coincides with the optical axis of the light emitting element 8. In this manner, the TV camera 1 is turned until the manupilator 5 reaches the position enabling photographing thereby affording a better responsiveness with a simple construction.
