Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure torque and reduce a load of an engine at its starting operation, in a starter device controlling speed of the engine with a regulator lever through a rod, by forming said rod to telescopically movable construction and extending said rod at starting operation. CONSTITUTION:At starting operation of an engine, a solenoid valve 34 is opened by a start signal, and an unloader valve 23 is opened, then a governor lever 21 is placed at a position of full speed, that is, at a position of an arrow head F. Accordingly, air through an air filter is sucked to an air compressor 11 through an unloader 10, compressed and then filled into a tank. At this time, compressed air in the tank is partially fed to an air cylinder 30 from a pipe 33 through the solenoid valve 34. Then a rod end 32 at the right side of the air cylinder 30 drives the governor lever 21 of the engine to the direction of the arrow head F (speed increase direction), while a left side rod end 31 drives the unloader valve 23 to a closing position through a regulator lever 20 or the like, thus a load to the engine can be reduced.
