CONSTITUTION:Metals p and n which compose a plurality of thermocouples are held at their sides by insulators 304. The upper surfaces 304' and the lower surfaces 304'' of the insulators 304 are flat planes and the end surfaces of a plurality of the metals p and n are exposed so as to be approximately on the same planes as the upper surfaces 304' and the lower surfaces 304'' of the insulators 304. On these flat parts of the upper surfaces 304' and the lower surfaces 304'' of the insulators 304 conductive layers 301 of the required shapes are formed by a method such as printing of conductive paste. Then a hot heat conductive plate 302 and a cold heat conductive plate 303 are fitted on the surfaces of the conductive layers 301 so as to generate the temperature difference of the thermocouples made of two kinds of metals p and n efficiently.
