Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable high-efficiency and high-output combustion of solid fuel by structuring a system whereby the eddy stream of combustion gas from the main combustion chamber which is intended for primary combustion of solid fuel is made to keep on burning in the subsidiary combustion chamber as well by the medium of the through route of the partition that separates the two combustion chambers. CONSTITUTION:The main combustion chamber 1, with the supply thereinto of solid fuel and primary air, starts combustion. The through route 10 of the partition 8 that separates the main combustion chamber 1 and the No.1 subsidiary combustion chamber 2 ends to form the shaft-through port 10a on the side of the main combustion chamber 1. Consequently, the heavy fuel remaining unburnt, through the centrifugal force of the eddy stream of combustion gas, remains on the outer periphery of the main combustion chamber 1 to keep on burning while the combustion gas containing light ash content that has gone through primary combustion is led into the shaft-through port 10a. This combustion gas, following the shape of the through route 10, is let out of the periphery-through port 10b to be fed into the No.1 subsidiary combustion chamber 2. The periphery-through port 10b is faced approximately in the tangenital direction of the No.1 subsidiary combustion chamber 2, where the just-mentioned combustion gas resumes spiral stream movement to keep on burning.
