Abstract
PURPOSE:To surely purify exhaust gas, by using an electric dust collector to change exhaust particles into larger particles and by using a cyclone to catch the larger particles and by incinerating them. CONSTITUTION:The exhaust gas of an engine enters into an electric dust collector 2 through a pipe 1 and then enters into cyclones 3, 4 through a right and a left communication pipes 21, 22. Larger particles made from the particles in the exhaust gas by the electric dust collector 2 are processed by the cyclones 3, 4 so that the exhaust solids easily drop to lower sections 32, 42 and enter into a combustion chamber 5. The purified exhaust gas is released to the outside through pipes 31, 41. Electricity is supplied to an electric heater 8 in the center of the combustion chamber 5. When a solenoid valve 7 is opened, air is blown off toward the heater 8 through nozzles 6 provided at both the sides of the combustion chamber 5, to surely burn up the exhaust solids.
