Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate controlling of addition moisture content and to cool recovered sand surely to prescribed temp. by adding the deviation moisture content of the recovered sand and the evaporation moisture content in a cooler calculated from the difference in the colling temp. of the recovered sand to the recovered sand before cooling. CONSTITUTION:The moisture of the recovered sand on a conveyor 1 is measured with a moisture measuring device 15 and is transmitted to a control board 16 which flows the moisture content corresponding to the deviation value from a target moisture content to an automatic flow rate controlling valve 10, so that the water of a prescribed amt. is sprayed from a moistening nozzle 12 to the recovered sand on the conveyor 1. The temps. of the recovered sand before and after the cooling with an agitation cooler 2 are measured respectively with sand temp. detectors 17, 18 and are transmitted to a control board 19. The board 19 calculates the cooling temp. difference of the recovered sand, operates the evaporation moisture content in the cooler 2 corresponding to this and issues a command to an automatic flow rate controlling valve 11 which addes the water corresponding to the evaporation moisture content from the nozzle 12 to the subsequent recovered sand.
