Abstract
PURPOSE: To control temperature of water at exit side of the water cooling tower by taking temperature of cold water leaving the water cooling tower and adjusting supply of cooling air by changing number of blowers in operation according to thus taken temperature of the water.
CONSTITUTION: Temperature of water at the exit side is detected by a water temperature detecting equipment (thermometer) 19 and a signal obtained is sent to a computer 20 i which calculation is made to determine a required number of blowers 15 in operation. A value obtained from the calculation is sent out as a signal to the blowers of the water cooling tower to turn on and off the required number of the blowers for controlling temperature of the water at the exit side. As this method enables operatins of the blowers to be adjusted finely by turning them on and off precisely, motive power for the blowers can be saved (economized).
