Abstract

PURPOSE: To keep the temperature of inductrial water constant without being influenced by the open-air temperature by giving thermal controls to three points, the amount of water supply to a cooling tower, the number of revolutions of a cooling fan, and the angle of a louver.
CONSTITUTION: A converter 8 is used to ouput three kinds of signals AWC on the basis of the detected temperauture from a thermometer 7. The output signal A is output to a discharge regulating valve 11 provided on a cooling pipe 10 to control the amount of water supply to a cooling tower 1 according to the supply temperature to a plant 5. The output signal B is used to control the number of revolutions of a cooling fan 12, while the output signal C is used to regulate the angle of a louver 13 to control the blast amount to the cooling tower 1, controlling the temperature of the industrial water sprinkled from the cooling pipe 10 inside the cooling tower 1. Thus, industrial water can be always maintained in a constant temperature against variations of the open-air temperature.
