Abstract

PURPOSE: To minimize power necessary for operation by a method wherein the optimum quantities of air and water are calculated based upon intake air temperature, intake air humidity, intake water temperature, sensible heat load, and latent heat load, and a blast fan and a water flow regulating valve are controlled accordingly.
CONSTITUTION: A control device 10 is respectively connected with an air temperature measuring equipment 1 for measurement of intake air temperature, an air humidity measuring equipment 2 for measurement of intake air humidity, a water temperature measuring equipment 3 for measurement of intake water temperature, a sensible heat load calculator 4 for calculation of sensible heat boad of the air conditioner, and a latent heat load calculator 5 for calculation of latent heat load of the air conditioner. The optimum quantities of air and water are calculated according to the measured values by the above-mentioned equipments and the loads calculated by the calculators mentioned above and a blast fan 101 and a water flow requlating valve 102 are controlled by the control device 10. As a result, the unnecessary use of fan power is eliminated and the power necessary for air conditioner is minimized.
