Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a superposed picture, by forming the 1st and 2nd electrostatic latent images to a recording medium that contains the microconductive fiber pieces buried with an independent arrangement and piercing through both surfaces of the recording medium and a photoconductive layer formed on the surface of an insulated layer respectively and then developing these latent images at one time. CONSTITUTION:A recording medium 1 contains an insulated layer 2 and a photoconductive layer 3, and a number of microconductive fiber pieces 4 pierce through both surfaces of the layer 2. An earthed conductive roller 5 is made to touch the surface of the layer 2 of the medium 1, and the surface of the layer 3 is charged evenly by a corona charger 6. Then a picture is exposed to light by an optical means 7 and in correspondence to the 1st original to obtain the 1st electrostatic latent image 8 of negative polarity. After this, a stylus electrode is made to touch the surface of the layer 2 to supply the picture signal of the 2nd original. Thus the negative charge is given only to the piece 4 to which the stylus electrode supplied with the negative charge has a contact. As a result, the 2nd electrostatic latent image 13 is obtained. This image is developed to obtain a visible image in which the images 8 and 13 are superposed on each other. Such visible image is transcribed and fixed to obtain a transfer paper on which a superposed picture is recorded.
