Abstract
PURPOSE:To offer a highly reliable and simple speed detection, by detecting rotating direction, zero speed and phase at the zero speed through the detection of the frequency and the phase of the distorted wave generated by a rotating speed detecting device. CONSTITUTION:A rotating speed detector 1 has a rotor 8 which is equipped with not an electric winding but only a laminated steel core, and the reactance of a hollow core 9 thereof is several hundred times as high as that of the laminated section, so that there is almost no magnetic field. Unbalanced current which goes into this detector 1 is detected by a current detector 2, and is introduced into a control device 3. The device 2 convertes the unbalanced current into a pulse and gives it to a speed control device 4. The device 4 conducts speed contrl of a motor 6 by comparing the pulse wit a signal from a speed setter 5. The device supplies the detector 1 with 3-phase AC voltage of a power supply device. The device also detects speed feedback to the device 4, rotating direction, zero speed and position of a rotor, and then, it puts out the results. It is possible, by using this mechanism, to execute speed control of rotary equipments of all kinds.
