Abstract
PURPOSE:To test a commutatorless motor without large power source and load facility by recovering the mechanical power of a motor as a DC power, returning it to a power converter, loading it to the motor, and supplying only loss from another power converter. CONSTITUTION:The field controller 11 for a load generator 2 controls the filed of the generator through a phase controller 11a by obtaining the predetermined ratio signal of the speed of the generator 2 with the voltage while comparing the signal from a speed feedback unit 5e and the voltage feedback value from an instrument voltage transformer PT2 via a speed-voltage ratio controller 11b. On the other hand, a converter 9 controls the firing phase of a thyristor through a phase controller 9a by obtaining the current reference value while comparing the feedback signal from an incoming current detecting instrument current transformer CT2 to a motor 1 with the set current value from the current setting unit 9c, converts the AC output of the generator 2 into DC, and returns it to the converter 7 through a DC reactor 10.
