Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure by a simple means the output voltage of an inverter in case of instant suspension of ac input power by connecting dc constant voltage source through dc to dc converter in parallel with the variable voltage direct current link of a forward and backward converter.
CONSTITUTION: A dc constant voltage source 40 is connected through dc to dc converter 30 in parallel with the dc link of an inverter and a floating charge use battery 50 is also connectrd thereto in necessary. If instant suspension of power may be occurred in ac input power source, a forward converter 10 is halted by a signal for detecting the instant suspension of the power and the dc to dc converter 30 starts so that the voltage on converter 30 is equivalent to a value of the dc link volttage. Next, the signal detects recovery of the ac input power source, the dc to dc converter 30 is halted by the recovery signal and the forward converter 10 starts with the phase corresponding to the dc link voltage.
