Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the shorts at a direct current source, by detecting the reaching of the currents of a pair of transistors for switching to zero level, and by ON-driving another pair of transistors for switching by the detected output thereof.
CONSTITUTION: When the output of a multivibrator 16 is on a high level, transistors 4 and 7 are at ON. Thus, currents flow through a step-up and step-down transformer 8. When the output of the multivibrator 16 is inverted, drive of the transistors 4, 7 is halted, but the currents 11 flow for the fixed time after the drive of the transistors 4, 7 stops bacause of the storage time of the transistors and then get to zero level. When the currents 11 reach zero level, the output of a multivibrator 17 gets to a high level, and currents in the direction opposite to the currents 11 flow through the transformer 8. Such operation is repeated, and DC is converted into AC.
