Roll balance hydraulic pistons 18 and 19 and roll bending hydraulic pistons 7 and 8 are set separately to cylinder blocks 16 and 17 provided to a housing 13 to ensure the shift of the rolls 1 and 2 in the axial line. These pistons are abutted to the flanges 9, 11, 10 and 12 of the boxes 5, 6, 7 and 8 respectively. Furthermore the boxes 5 and 6 are linked with clamping mechanisms 5a and 6a which accept the thrust.
