Abstract
PURPOSE:To attain the input/output control without using any external additional circuit, by applying a reset signal to the bus line of a peripheral chip in accordance with the rise of a power supply and outputting the reset signal to the side of a microcomputer chip. CONSTITUTION:The signal which is supplied to a terminal 1 of a peripheral chip 101 from a power supply E is supplied to a resetting circuit 2 to subject to waveform shaping, then supplied to the prescribed area via a lead wire 3. The output signal of the circuit 2 is led to a bus line 6 via a driver 4 and a transfer gate 5. The signal produced by decoding 8 the address signal sent from a microcomputer chip 100 is applied to the gate 5 along with an AND signal to the input/output strobe signal. Then the reset signal of the circuit 2 is led to the line 6. The reset signal sent from the line 6 is fed to the chip 100 side by a strobe signal and via a buffer 11. As a result, the chip 100 can decide accurately the reset end time, and the input/output control is possible immediately after the end of reset of the chip 101.
