Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the delay of signal propagation by charging or discharging a signal line only when the voltage of the signal line is within a prescribed range. CONSTITUTION:For the transmission of a binary voltage which has a 0 V low level and a VDD high level, VL is set for the low level side, and VH for the high level side. (0<VL<VH<VDD.) A detecting circuit 2 outputs a ''0'' when the voltage of a signal line is lower that the VH, or a ''1'' when between the VH and VDD. A detecting circuit 3 outputs a ''0'' when the voltage of the signal line is lower than the VL, or a ''1'' when between the VL and VDD. When the voltage of the signal line 1 is varying from the 0 to the 1, a transistor 7 turns on while the output of the detecting circuit 2 rises up to the ''1'' after the output of the detecting circuit 3 goes up the ''1'', thereby raising the voltage of the signal line rapidly.
